The quiet town of Pedraza is shaken by the birth of a mysterious child. Local vet Elena and Mayor Paco investigate the incident and begin to uncover the troubling past of their newly appointed priest, Father Vergara (Eduard Fernández) – and the significance of a curious coin he has in his possession.

Father Vergara flees from his past taking refuge from the very devil, who pursues him to recover a treasure, one of the 30 coins for which Judas betrayed Christ. It's time to face him again, and this time he's ready.

Elena and Paco discover that a local mirror is haunted. When Father Vergara spends the night investigating the mirror’s trickery, he risks getting swept into its deathly portal.

Father Vergara leaves for Rome to face his painful past. He requests a meeting with the Pope, but he discovers that Santoro is waiting for him too. Meanwhile in Pedraza, someone is about to return from the dead.

After mysteriously disappearing two years ago, Elena’s husband miraculously returns. In Rome, Santoro tries to recruit Vergara, offering him unimaginable power…

Vergara flees from Santoro and hides among soldiers and war hospitals in Syria. Elena follows Roque to Paris, but is terrified when the coin finds its way back to her. In Pedraza, Paco is about to resign when a sinister new priest arrives.

When the sinister new priest prepares a great ritual, a magical fog descends over the village. Vergara and Elena, return with the coin while Paco attempts to resist the conspiracy. The epic confrontation of good versus evil has finally arrived.

Vergara, Paco and Elena confront biblical demons while the Cainites seize the village. If they get hold of the 30 coins, an unprecedented power shall emerge, and with it, a Pope for the new world order under Satan’s rule.
