In the first episode of the series, Detective Madigan breaks in a new partner whose methods clash with those of the veteran cop.

Shady businessman Balinger's deal with equally shady Cravat is ruined when Balinger is robbed by juvenile Billy Fix. Balinger hires homosexual hitmen Blue and Kraft to kill Billy. Madigan must find the juvenile in Harlem before they do.

To catch a group of American gangsters hiding out across the pond, Madigan teams up with Scotland Yard.

Madigan is in pursuit of a prisoner who is freed in a hijacking.

Madigan travels to Naples ,Italy to obtain information on a drug smuggling ring from an old mafia boss called Liuzza who is now bitter with the drugs cartel because his grand-daughter is drug addicted.

Fairly straight forward cop show with Madigan hunting a former cop gone bad before he kills someone. Good filming locations in and around New York City.
