A 23-year-old woman disappears without a trace. Days later, her father finds her body in a wooded area—naked and covered with branches. Despite intensive investigations, the police find little evidence.

On June 27, 2995, four masked and heavily armed men stormed a bank branch in the Berlin district of Zehlendorf. They took 16 customers and employees hostage.

A 54-year-old accountant is literally executed at her workplace. Everything looks like a contract killing.

The power suddenly goes out in an apartment building. A resident rings the doorbell of the apartment above hers – no one answers. Jochen Strecker, Berlin's "Disco King," has been murdered.
