01. Christine
Davies is called in to investigate the suspicious death of wealthy artist Maurice Leyman, found dead after a fire in the studio in the garden of his luxury home. His wife is rather calm about the whole thing and has a dodgy alibi, but Dangerous is reluctant to point the finger at her.
02. The Long Bank Holiday
Davies makes a gruesome discovery when he is called in to settle a dispute between neighbours over a leylandii hedge. The hapless detective is then called away to deal with a suspected suicide.
03. Benefit to Mankind
Davies decides to toughen up after falling victim to a cruel practical joke by colleagues Barrett and Pimlott. He is then dispatched to investigate the death of a medical researcher. It looks like suicide, but Davies is convinced it's murder.
04. Dangerous and the Lonely Hearts
Dangerous Davies is on the trail of the killer of an Albanian refugee, and his search leads him to a dating agency – where one of the clients is someone he knows only too well.
