Where I Belong
In the heart-warming series 'Where I Belong', we learn about the value of intergenerational friendship and the importance of strengthening community connection. We meet a Banksia family and are introduced to their world – a banksia community of family, friends and teachers!
01. Monday
Abi and Kaeng make a Family Book and introduce us to 'Banksy' and the Banksia family, including their pet dog, and they make breath-fresh doggie treats for special guest Roni the dog.
02. Tuesday
Andrew and Hunter introduce Banksy's grandparents and Andrew shows us photos of his grandparents kept inside a treasure box. They make a delicious Vietnamese salad and Through The Windows, we meet grandparents across Australia.
03. Wednesday
Emma and Hunter visit Banksy's veggie garden to tell the story of "Too Many Tomatoes". They have a fruity festival with the toys and make a yummy, dried fruit salad. Through The Windows, we visit all sorts of community gardens.
04. Thursday
Karen and Teo build a nature mandala to make a frog pond. They visit Banksy's friends at the playground and then we're off to the "Quick-As-Can-Be-Grand Prix" with the toys! Through The Windows, we meet many special friends.
05. Friday
Abi and Zindzi learn how to make a wall cake for Humpty's birthday party. They create pictures with shapes for party decorations and visit Banksy's preschool. Through The Windows, we look at how teachers help us learn and grow.
