Season 1

Aboriginal detective Toni Alma is 35 and has her life all worked out. Living in Alice Springs, she's got a great job, a terrific female boss and mentor, who has her marked out for big things.

The community hear of Mariah's death, and Mariah's family gather for sorry business. Toni observes the ceremony with Nick by her side.

Viv hovers over Brendan and tells Toni off for losing him; Nick returns everyone's focus to the investigation.

Samuel returns to Perdar Theendar with Keithy's body; an angry Toni confronts Samuel; Nick is confused, but Toni is more focused on the facts.
