16-year old Isla meets her Prince Charming Kaden at her fairytale birthday ball. But life is complicated and, fast forward 5 years, she is now Kaden’s fake fiancée. Kaden is suffering from temporary blindness and thinks he's still dating his real fiancée, Evangeline, who's actually buried six-feet underground. In her quest to do the right thing and to free Kaden from the ghosts of the past and the danger and threats of the present, Isla is aided by her friends and allies. But Isla is no ailing damsel in distress, she unflinchingly faces her own demons as well as Kaden’s – a heroine with no superpowers – just good sense and a pure heart.

Kaden is temporarily blinded, and his mother concocts an elaborate plan to protect him from certain difficult truths. In her quest to do the right thing, Isla volunteers to pretend to be his fiancée Evangeline.
03. Trust Fall
Aided by her friends and allies, Isla helps an angry Kaden to face his demons. But her best intentions cannot save her from his fears and insecurities, even as she finds herself falling deeper in love.
04. Heartbreak
Isla discovers more lies and cover ups about Kaden’s accident, but comes no closer to the truth. When she eventually has to leave Kaden, he feels betrayed and hunts her down, looking for revenge.

Isla puts up with Kaden’s unreasonable demands, while trying to protect him from an unknown danger. Working closely together day and night, Isla and Kaden find themselves falling for each other again, but are there forces at work against them?

In a shocking turn of events, Isla and Kaden face a tragic loss. Isla is determined to uncover the truth, in order to protect Kaden, but ends up putting her own life in danger for his sake. Will there be a happy ever after for their love story?
