Kumar Mahajan, a typical middle class man, over-burdened with work and is prone to bad incidents in life. Kumar's friend, Sharad, forcefully takes him to an astrologer, Swami, who shockingly reveals that he has seen his hand before.

Swami denies telling him his future. He speaks about Sudarshan Chakrapani, who was also denied being told of his future. After a series of unfortunate events, Kumar decides to look for Sudarshan Chakrapani who also has lived the same life.

Kumar unfolds that he is leading the life same as Sudarshan Chakrapani as he gets transferred to Kolhapur, where the blue moon cottage catches his eye. On the other hand, Sharad is trying to find whatever he can about Sudarshan Chakrapani.

Kumar requests his boss to allot the Blue Moon Cottage to him. Upon shifting, Kumar notices similarities between himself and Sudarshan. He later comes across Bablya, who asks for a bribe in exchange for information about Sudarshan.

Bablya tells him that Chakrapani worked at the Imperial Woods Company. Upon researching, Sharad calls Kumar saying Sudarshan was transferred to its Karjat branch. Later destiny hints to Kumar that he should immediately leave for Karjat.

Kumar reaches Imperial Woods Company and asks the manager about Sudarshan Chakrapani. As he collects more information on Chakrapani, he lands himself in Retibunder- Chiplun, where he finally meets Sudarshan.

Kumar intends to have a conversation but Sudarshan stops him and asks him to rest for the night. He offers him some whisky after which Kumar passes out. Next day, they sit down to talk and realize that they indeed share the same destiny.

Kumar and Sudarshan talk about their past, realizing that all the dots connect. Kumar asks Sudarshan to tell him about his future. Sudarshan agrees to handover a set of diaries to warn him about his future, only with certain conditions.

Kumar has been promoted due to Kanjaria's death. He keeps on reading one page of the diary every day before sleeping and things begin to go well for him until one day he finds out that a woman is about to enter his life.
